Share Fair Nation Appoints Kellie Lauth to Board of Directors
DENVER, Colorado, October 25, 2016
Share Fair Nation, a nonprofit dedicated to teaching and inspiring educators in emerging practices for a 21st century workforce, announced today that Kellie Lauth has joined their Board of Directors.
Kellie is the principal of STEM Launch K-8, and the STEM Coordinator for Adams 12 Five Star School District. Along with a team of colleagues, Kellie opened one of the nation’s first K-8 STEM schools in 2011. As district coordinator, she plays a key role in STEM expansion within the district and works to attract organizations outside the district to the model.
Kellie and Share Fair Nation enjoy a long history of working together. Kellie has been a presenter at Share Fair Nation events, and her school has been a demonstration site for innovation through problem-based learning. Kellie contributes extensively to Share Fair Nation as a partner and thought leader in regard to advancing innovation in education. STEM is clearly an incredibly important component of today’s education landscape, and critical to the development of a strong 21st century workforce.
In announcing this appointment, Share Fair Nation Board of Directors Chair Carrie Morgridge remarked, “Kellie’s commitment to education and the impact she has had is profound. We are so fortunate to have collaborated with her extensively in the past, and could not be more thrilled that she has agreed to deepen her work with Share Fair Nation by contributing as a member of our Board of Directors. Kellie will be a tremendous asset as we expand our role in delivering high-quality training that bolsters teacher effectiveness and ultimately improves student outcomes.”
“I look forward to continuing my relationship with Share Fair Nation in this important new capacity. I believe wholeheartedly in their mission and their work, and am honored for the opportunity to help further their efforts in Colorado and across the nation,” said Ms. Lauth.
